Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett-"One Heartbeat Away"

So two of Hollywood's most famous stars have both passed in the last two days. People are in shock and the families of the two are both very sadden. I want to offer my condolences to both families first and foremost.

I am left with one question here thinking about "Thriller" and "Charlie's Angel" passing, "where are they both now?"

Sadly I don't know, and maybe that is the same answer you have today. If you died today would this be your families response? If it would be then something needs to be done about it.

2,000 years ago God came in the form of Man to offer us a way to salvation, it is really simple. Accept him as Lord in your life, turn from sin (repent) and follow and obey his commands. We can all do this, we were all meant to be in relationship with our Heavenly Father and He has provided that way through Christ.

What is truly at risk here if we don't choose or don't care to choose Christ as our Lord?

Sadly the risk is a fatal one, not to your flesh because what is truly scary about something that happens to 100% of all flesh (well except Enoch and Elijah but those are for later discussions), but for your soul. Christ warned us not to fear the one who can destroy just your flesh but the one who can destroy both body and soul in judgement.

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
-Matthew 10:28 KJV-

God sits poised on his throne to judge the peoples of this earth according to what they have done. Everyone will be judged on the same standard, no bending of the rules, no exceptions. If God did this he wouldn't truly be a just and fair God, so everyone gets the same treatment. If left to find our own salvation and rely on our good deeds or our being not as bad as someone else then quite frankly we all would be due the punishment coming to us which would be the destruction of our soul as well as our flesh.

The law is perfect and as far as I can tell no one is perfect, so how can you overcome the perfect law of the Almighty?? Simple, accept the perfect one and his perfect sacrifice to be the covering of you faults and transgressions against the Almighty. Then unlike to question about Mr. Jackson and Mrs. Fawcett, you can know where you will end up. Many will say Lord, Lord we cast out demons, we healed in your name, and Jesus will say to them get out of here I never knew you, go into eternal damnation.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
-Matthew 7:21-23 KJV-

Check out the book above by Mark Cahill, go to his site and donate the money for the book and he'll send it to you, otherwise if you can't afford it, let me know, I will get you one myself.

God Bless Friends!! Don't let another heartbeat go by without accepting Jesus as you Lord!!

Don't Let the Gospel Go Unheard

Hey all,
So I wanted to offer this encouragement to all who carry the Gospel to the lost.

Sometimes when we witness to others it might seem like they are not listening, maybe they are passive, maybe they simply just walk away from you. Don't let your hearts be troubled, you have done what you were commanded to do, that is spread the word, if our command was to make sure the words stick then we would have failed but in the command to take the gospel into the whole world we have achieved this every time we talk about Jesus to someone and every time we left behind a tract somewhere.

Don't stop giving of your time to the important cause of spreading the word, it might not seem like it but you are making a difference and someday when we meet the Lord and see all the souls that are experiencing the same the joy we are then we will see the ones who came to the Lord by a word we said, or a tract we left or a smile we gave. Then our joy will be even greater to see the work of the Lord complete!

-Peace in Christ-
